UNIVERSAL MOTOR DRIVE
The UAM Motor Drive is the basic power house for all our attachable accessory equipment for pilot plant and small batch production, such as Coating Pans, Cube Mixers, Pelletisers, Granulators etc. It offers variable speed adjustment within 50 – 450 rpm as well as a operation memory offering 20 files for the most used settings.
The flexible design allows the easy, trouble-free changeover of accessories in a fast and efficient manner.
Stainless Steel Cube Mixer
The stainless steel CM Cube Mixer uses a tumbling motion to mix a homogenous blend of the product. The gentle mixing action suits highly sensitive materials. 3 stainless steel shafts inside the mixing chamber may be used to assist the mixing action. Its available for a total mixing volume of 3.5 or 7.5 l. The CM Cube Mixer is attached to the UGD Gear Drive.
Plexiglas Cube Mixer
The CMP Plexi Glass Cube Mixers use a tumbling motion to mix a homogenous blend of the product. The gentle mixing action suits highly sensitive materials. 3 stainless steel shafts assist the mixing action. Its attached via the UGD gear to the UAM Motor Drive. Two sizes are available, 7.5 ltr. and 12 ltr. total volume.
Double Cone Mixer
The DCM-6 double cone mixer can be used for all free flowing products, like granules or solid/liquid media. The DCM-6 operates on the “free-fall” principle. The mixing is achieved by the rotary action of the cone combined with the sliding/shearing action produced by the inclined sides of the conus thus guaranteeing complete homogeneity of the mixing product. The efficiency of the mixing action can be optimised by the speed of the UAM motor drive and the angle of the mixing cone using the UGD red
High Speed Plough Shear Mixer
Plough Shaer Mixers are suitable for use in mixing powders and granules as well as light pastes and creams. Actually they are suitable for both dry and wet products.
The PSM is based on a proven mixing construction that provides a double mixing action ensuring fast efficient blending. The constant rotation of the stainless steel blades drives the material to the top of the trough whereupon it tumbles to the base and is once more folded into the material mass.
Plough Shear Powder Mixer
Plough Share Mixers are suitable for use in mixing powders and granules as well as light pastes and creams. Actually they are suitable for both dry and wet products.
The PSM-8 is based on a proven mixing construction that provides a double mixing action ensuring fast efficient blending. The constant rotation of the stainless steel blades drives the material to the top of the trough whereupon it tumbles to the base and is once more folded into the material mass.
The Y-Cone Mixer YM-4 operates by raising the product beyond the angle of repose such that successive layers of products are exposed to a constantly changing plane of shear and the sliding free surface. The unique geometry of the “Y” cone provides a simultaneous axial or cross flow of particles by the dividing and recombining of the mass as it flows into and from the two arms of the rotating blender.
The Planetary Ointment Mixer POM-5 is directly attached to the UAM Motor Drive. It is used for mixing of ointments, crèmes, suspensions, wetted powders and liquids. It consist of a stainless steel (316) mixing kettle, a mixing paddle and a Teflon scraper which is shaped in such a matter that there is a minimum clearance to the mixing kettle. The Kettle can easily be removed from the Planetary Mixer.
Liquid and Powder Agitator
The Agitator Type AT can mix all types of different viscous liquids. The AT Agitator consists of stirring kettle arm and agitating driving unit. The kettle and stirring arm are made of stainless steel. The AT Agitator is used for stirring, agitating & beating all kinds of liquids, emulsions, suspensions and similar mixtures. The kettle can be supplied with double jacket for cooling and heating by water (optional). The AT agitator is suitable for screwing on to the UAM Motor drive.
The Laboratory Kneader LMZ-5, which is connected to the UAM Motor Drive is operating on the Z blade principal. It comprises of a mixing though inside of which two Z-shaped mixing blades rotate towards each other at different speed.
Drum Hoop Mixer
The Drum Hoop Blender (Turbola Mixer) RM-6 has been designed for mixing such as powder and granules. The Drum Hoop Mixer is equally suited to research as well as industrial use in the pharmaceutical, food, chemical and plastics fields.
Liquid Filling and Dosing Apparatus
The Liquid Dosing and Filling Machine LF-150 fills and dispenses all liquids with two pumps and valves made of stainless steel each of them ranging from 25 – 150 ml.
Tube Filling Apparatus
The Ointment Filling and Dosing Machine FM-O is suitable to fill drip free and dose accurately, ointments, creams, pharmaceutical and cosmetic emulsions, toothpaste, oil paints, liquids, detergents, jam, mustard, ketchup, honey and similar products into tubes, jars, bottles, plastic containers, etc.
Suppository and Lipstick Moulding Ap
The Filling and Moulding Apparatus PFM-L is used for moulding suppositories, lipsticks and similar products into suitable moulds. The PFM-L is directly connected to the UAM Motor Drive which is used to drive the built-in stirrer. This instrument permits melting, agitation and mixing during the filling operation. The stainless steel kettle and the agitator are heated by a glycerine bath and 1000 watt heating element. The thermostat permits adjustment of the temperature of the kettle.
The Homogenizer HMG is used in the preparation of oil-in-water and water-in-oil construction in quantity of up to about 30 Kg/h. A piston pump produces the homogenization. The Materials may be fed to the pump either from a hopper, having a capacity of 1.5 litres, or a screw nozzle may be attached with a suction filter, which primes the premixed materials from a storage container.
Wet Granulator and Sieving Attachmen
The Wet Granulator WG-30 is designed for the production of granulates of various sizes from moistened powders. It can also be used to reduce slugs as in the double compression method of tablets making or for re-processing of rejected tablets. Its attached to the UAM Motor Drive by means of four knurled screws.
The DG Dry Granulator, a helical double roller Crusher-Granulator, is used for preparation of granules starting from slugs, tablets, pellets and, in some limited cases even from powders.
Stainless Steel Coating Pan
The CP-9 stainless steel coating pan is designed to permit the execution of all coating operations. The pan is mounted onto the Universal Gear UGD which allows the user to adjust the coating pan accessory to a suitable angle for optimum production. The working speed can be continuously adjusted to adapt to the required process. Adjust the UGD gear for simple and rapid discharging and cleaning.
The felt-lined polishing drum PD is designed for polishing sugar coated tablets. The covers, which lock quickly into places with three snap closures, as well as the bottom of the drums are lined with felt. All felt parts are easily exchangeable.
Stainless Steel Pelletiser
Manufacturing Pellets is easily achieved using the Pelletiser PLT. The clockwise rotation of the pelletiser pan with adjustable speed and angle using the Universal Gear UGD, offers optimised settings and facilities to produce the required pellet size. The size of generated pellets depends on the rotating angle and speed of the pelletiser pan, the amount of liquid added and the type of feed. As soon as the pan is filled, the pellets will continuously roll over the side wall into a container.
Stainless Steel Mini Ball Mill
The Mini-Ball-Mill BM-0 is attached to the UGD Gear which is driven by the UAM Motor Drive. The Mini Ball Mill BM-0 is used to prepare small samples for analysis or for grinding or dry mixing of products. The Mill body is made from stainless steel 316, so are the grinding balls which have a diameter of about 15 mm.
Stainless Steel Ball Mill
The Ball Mill, type BM-5, made from stainless steel, can be used for grinding crystalline material, for mixing dry materials and under certain conditions wet materials.
