Developing and optimising pharmaceutical processes necessitates a thorough understanding of reaction kinetics to enhance efficiency, manage impurities, and ensure reliable scale-up. However, obtaining high-quality kinetic data is challenging due to limitations in many laboratory platforms, especially in achieving representative mixing, precise temperature control, and consistent sampling.
The ReactALL™ workstation was developed to fill this gap by providing automated, medium-throughput experimentation under representative reaction conditions. By integrating overhead stirring, precise temperature control, and automated time-resolved sampling, the platform facilitates the creation of structured, data-rich datasets suitable for kinetic analysis.
This application note below summarises evaluation studies by Argüelles et al., which assessed the system’s performance in temperature control, solvent retention, sampling reproducibility, and experiment reproducibility—key factors necessary for generating reliable kinetic data.
