In mid-February, CAMAG will launch visionCATS 4.2, featuring a powerful new AI Tools option that enhances chemometric HPTLC data evaluation. This update introduces two groundbreaking functions – Peaks Analysis and Classification – which fundamentally change the interpretation of complex HPTLC data.

PEAKS ACCEPTANCE CRITERIA – SMARTER UNDERSTANDING OF PEAK DATA
The Peaks Tool allows users to compare substances and establish statistically reliable acceptance ranges. Display acceptance limits for peak area and height using Min/Max or Confidence Interval methods, and interactively explore RF values, along with peak height and area, through scatter and box plots. It also automatically groups, aligns, and normalizes peaks by track, analysis, wavelength, and RF range to ensure consistent and reliable comparisons across multiple plates.

CLASSIFICATION – TURNING DATA INTO KNOWLEDGE
The Classification tool introduces AI-powered pattern recognition and grouping to visionCATS, eliminating subjective interpretation in data analysis. Opt for either predictive modeling or exploratory clustering, utilize advanced preprocessing and dimensionality reduction techniques like PCA or t-SNE to enhance model performance, and investigate intricate datasets with high-resolution 2D and 3D visualizations that uncover hidden patterns and structures.
The AI Tools option integrates artificial intelligence with CAMAG’s analytical expertise to convert complex HPTLC data into actionable insights, enhancing the speed, intelligence, and precision of analysis. With automated Peaks Acceptance Criteria and adaptive Classification, users benefit from a smart assistant for more confident decision-making.
Together, these represent the initial AI-driven capabilities in visionCATS, with additional intelligent tools and features planned for future updates.
