Introducing 5-in-1 Tablet Hardness Tester PTB 430 from Pharma Test AG Germany

We are pleased to present the new 5-in-1 tablet hardness tester, PTB 430. The PTB 430 includes a carousel that accommodates up to 20 samples and can measure up to five different parameters of a sample. Positioned between the PTB 330 and PTB 500 NICE, the PTB 430 shares the 20-sample carousel feature with the PTB 500 NICE but lacks the audit trail and additional software features like electronic signatures. Instead, the PTB 430's software is based on the PTB 330, providing a similar user interface and feature set.

The PTB 430 includes a carousel with 20 sample chambers. Alternatively, a carousel with ten (10) larger chambers is offered to facilitate easier manual handling and alignment of larger samples.

The carousel moves the samples from the weight station to the thickness station, and then to the station for combined width, diameter (or length), and hardness testing. For weight measurement, the PTB 430 includes an optional integrated Sartorius analytical balance cell.

The PTB 430 is equipped with a 7-inch backlit color touch screen, offering a cutting-edge graphical user interface (GUI).
