PTB 500 NICE 5-in-1 Semi-Automated Tablet Testing System with Integrated Balance from Pharma Test Germany

The PTB 500 NICE semi-automated tablet testing system is designed with dual test modes to assess five parameters of a sample: hardness, diameter (or length), thickness, width, and tablet weight. It includes an integrated analytical balance and a sample carousel. The instrument adheres strictly to the EP <2.9.8> and USP <1217> Pharmacopoeia standards.

The PTB 500 NICE is equipped with a carousel that moves samples between stations for testing weight, thickness, and combined width, diameter (or length), as well as hardness. It includes an integrated Sartorius analytical balance for measuring the weight of individual samples. Users can choose measurement units from mm or inches for dimensions, and KP (Kilopond), N (Newton), or Sc (Strong Cobb) for force.
